I've used Dim Dim 4 times, 3 this year alone, where we actually sold tickets (using Eventbrite) to a series of webinars where we uploaded PowerPoint presentations. It actually worked fine each time. The audio on the recorded versions, I agree, was very uneven. Once it was actually unusable and the other time it was fine (and the other times we didn't record it). But the screen saving service was fine. FYI, we used the conference phone call number and not the microphone or Skype aspect of their service. Maybe you caught them on a bad day. I've used Dim Dim 4 times, 3 this year alone, where we actually sold tickets (using Eventbrite) to a series of webinars where we uploaded PowerPoint presentations. It actually worked fine each time.
