Facebook, Flash, Long Copy – What Is In And Out

facebook-profit consultantprofit consultant apple stampOK, dang 420 character wall limits on Facebook. Seriously. I am all about chunking down but 420 characters? Can you tell that I am not an in the box kind of guy? Just another reminder that you need to have a Blog if you have a Business or want to make money. Or to explain anything in detail which brings me to one of my points. :)

Anyway, I was reading a Post over at a Women’s Entrepreneur site last night by an “Expert” Marketer/Web Designer. And no, I am not going to link to a bad article or their website. Whoops, kind of gave it away a bit huh?

Now I am sure she, the Authoress, is a nice lady and all but… Oh heck, I don’t actually know that, she could be a Harpy, but let’s give her the benefit of the doubt anyway and say she is a really super duper nice lady and she probably is. Regardless of her demeanor however, I have to point out that she is just plain wrong about some things in her article. —–> READ MORE

Economics Explained In Rap – A Video That Explains It All

OK, the Hayek and Keyne’s Economic theory explained in a Rap song. (Keyene’s theory is what they are using now and it is not working even though it was long ago discredited. Kind of like thinking Bell Bottoms and Clogs are cool. (It happens in clothes and Economics, except that Bell Bottoms don’t lead to massive unemployment, inflation, and people losing their homes and businesses.)

And Hayek explains why Keyne’s theories always fail.

Let me know what you think! I won’t do too many of these but as a student of Economics, it is my cup of tea.

PEOPLE PATTERNS™ VS MEYERS-BRIGGS – PART II – ARE ALL TYPES THE SAME?

ARE ALL TYPES THE SAME?

PEOPLE PATTERNS™ VS MEYERS-BRIGGS – PART II

Personality_Language In the first part of this discussion, we discussed the two points: 1) the concept of typologies from a perspective of formal logic and 2) the different forms of typologies. As mentioned, Meyers-Briggs presents immutable boxes or preferences, whereas we know that types can be changed, given our work in behavioral change technologies. Second, we discussed how Meyers-Briggs and People Patterns™ are what we refer to as horizontal typologies.

MEYERS BRIGGS Versus PEOPLE PATTERNS™ – PART I

ARE ALL TYPES THE SAME?
PEOPLE PATTERNS™ VS MEYERS BRIGGS – PART I

This is from Marilyne Woodsmall and her Blog over at www.TheScienceOfIdiots.com.  If you want to get deep into understanding sales, why people buy and don’t buy, how to manage customers, employees, contractors, and even understand all of those people around you that you interact with on a daily basis, this is the cutting edge thinking that is fast replacing the old worn out theories.  The wonderful thing about what she teaches it that it makes sense and will add to your bottom line.

From time to time students and clients will ask us about the other typologies in relation to our People Patterns™, in particular Myers-Briggs. Many of you have probably heard about the Myers-Briggs Inventory at some point. It is a tool that has been used for understanding what are considered to be behavioral preferences and yet, it can be quite limiting in its scope. Meyers-Briggs presents four categories of these so called preferences:

1)Introvert – Extrovert
2)Sensor – Intuitor
3)Thinker – Feeler
4)Judger – Perceiver

However, before I briefly go over these types, it will be helpful to explain three things: 1) the concept of typologies 2) the different forms of typologies 3) the concept of contextuality and 4) the concept of refinement and deep structure, the latter two which we’ll consider in our next article. —–> READ MORE

A Profitable Website

A Profitable Website

I will be doing another video going over the basics of what you need and of course, WordPress is the only content managements system that I recommend these days.

WordPress currently powers 8.7% of all Websites.
WordPress currently powers 56% of all Websites that have CMS or a Content Management System.

You need to be using CMS and WordPress. This should be your Website if you want to make money. If you don’t have a Blog and update your content on a regular basis, you are losing customers, money, and you are getting killed on Search Engine Placement.

Here is the link to the Tour Page with the Buttons That I speak about in the Video as well as a few other sites.

And if you are willing to be a Guinea Pig, you can pre-order the Software that we used to build the sites for only $77 a month and you get a 30 day free trial. No contracts, no commitments. Not only that, but you will get a Shopping Cart, an Affiliate Program, and an Auto-Responder built in as well. Plus other great good surprises. (and yes, I will get around to putting in a fancy button here too, but the most important thing is to have a way for people to give you money.

OK, I am going to go over some of the basics that you need to have no matter what, as well as a number of things that I see big companies and even well know Web Gurus are doing wrong with their Websites in the next video.

These are easily correctable but often overlooked.

Also, for those of you interested, if you don’t feel up to doing a site like the ones I show you in the video, we can do ones like them from turn key (you have to provide the content, although we can for more money) from $499 to about $2,470 for most small business sites. Larger sites are more of course. But typically, we are 1/2 to 1/3rd the cost of other solutions. We can also provide turnkey solutions on a monthly basis as well. If you are interested, just contact me and we will get you taken care of for sure.

Learn From History About Black Revolutionary’s

OK, this is way off the beaten path here, but as a student of real History and Economics, I learned early on that what we learn in Grade School, High School and especially College is so biased by Progressives and has been sanitized to fit PC requirements it is not even funny and it is just plain wrong in most things.

From the real story of the first Thanksgivings Celebration of throwing off Socialism, to our own Government Officials openly praising Mao and having an ornament of him on last year’s Christmas tree, who also happens to be the biggest Mass Murderer in the History of Mankind, to who actually flew first, and to who probably really  invented the Telephone.  And no, it was not the Wright Brothers, nor Alexander Graham Bell.

I did a blog post on these on one of my other blogs and may post it here but I don’t want to get too far off track.  :)

I was doing a very rare thing today in that I actually turned on the TV during a short break and was flipping through channels and came across this about the Revolutionary War and the lost history of Black Americans in it.  Not as slaves, but as welcomed and honored participants.  I also learned that the Abolitionists in order to make a case against slavery, did their best to wipe this out.   Stupid is, is stupid does I guess.

Anyway, here is what I watched today the really ticked me off and made me like our Founding Fathers even more and only reinforces to me why America is the best country that has ever been in existence and that we have so much to be proud of and screw the people that say we should be ashamed of America.   Your an idiot if you think that way and if that is you, please go away now.  :)   Just saying… For those of you still here, enjoy! You are in for a treat!

Cheers,
Anderson

Your Most Valuable Asset In Business

The Answer And A Video Explanation Of Your Most Valuable Asset

So, what do you think your most valuable asset in business is that you have?  If you are like the rest of the go getter’s out there, we have a tendency to think that if we work a little harder, a little longer, and put in more of ourselves we will solve the issue of of the moment.

Now you would think that if you just could put a little more time in, you could get it done.  Well guess what?  No matter how well you manage your time, it won’t matter.  Will you get more done for a while? Of course but you can’t run effectively day after day at full tilt for 16,17, 18 hours a day.

Your most valuable Asset In Business is your energy levels.  If you go after a problem after you are well rested and healthy and your head is in the right place, then you can solve many problems or issues that come up in a manner of minutes.  Yet you try and do the same high level task when you are tired and it could easily take you hours to come up with the same quality of solution.

In the book ” The Power Of Full Engagement” by Jim Loehr and Tony Schwartz they bring up some very good statistics and examples of why this is true.
