Lech Walesa gives his view of the world and some friendly advice to the United States of America

He speaks about the state of Entrepreneurs and Capitalism and the lack of morality in our government today.

This man is one of a very, very few politicians that I have respect for these days. He is of the mold of our founding fathers in that he put his life on the line when he got into politics.  He led the way for the downfall of the Soviet Union and is truly one of the great leaders of the past 100 years.  If you are old enough to remember the time when he lead Poland on a path to Democracy and most importantly Free Market Capitalism, you may feel the same way I do.

He stared down execution and torture to lead Poland to its current prosperity and freedom as a Union Organizer for the shipbuilders.  And unlike the Union organizers in the US, he then went on to be and still is one of the biggest promoters of Free Market Capitalism and Entrepreneurs in the world.  He has also seen first hand the destruction and evil that Intellectual Elitism, Communism and Socialism can do first hand and offers some advice for the people of the United States.

This from a man who has been there and done that and actually walks the talk.  And look , no teleprompters!

While he is far from perfect, he is someone with experience and knows how things work concerning government and Entrepreneurs and how to get things done.  He is  someone with those two qualities that America Politicians lack, and that the American people and businesses could sorely use right now.

Warren Buffett, Obama, The Banks, And You

Warren Buffett, the CEO of Berkshire Hathaway on Fox Business News today said that he does not agree with Obama’s New Proposed Regulations on Banks placing Government Regulations on risk.   He said that he felt it was the individual’s CEO’s and even their wives responsibility to manage risk.

He said that if there are failures, that the CEO’s should have to pay for failing to manage those risks. He also went on to say that by implementing such regulations, there there are often unintended consequences.

I am updating this post from last February. I think it is even more relevant now than then.

Did you know we Capitalists had our own Capitalist Angel?  Kind of neat don’t you think?

Every since I was a little Kid, I knew that I was going to be a millionaire when I grew up. I always liked money from the standpoint that I had figured out that if you have it, you could get to do the things that you enjoyed.  For me, this was to buy Popular Science and Popular Mechanics magazines and to buy items for my experiments that I constantly had going on.

My Mom indulged me in this and my bedroom was a constant disaster in that I usually was trying to grow some type of new yeast under the bed or tearing apart motors, or other mechanical devices on dresser and in the dresser. or on the floor.  It was really an enter at your own risk environment. I had a great shot of enthusiasm over the weekend that I wanted to share with you.  It all came about because I had a few items that I wanted to sell or throw away.  So I put a couple of ads on Craigslist.com and ended up running into some rather interesting Entrepreneurs and people in general.  They ranged in age from about 20 to 75.

If you want an example of Capitalism working at its best it is a perfect example.  If your price is too high it won’t sell, but if it is priced right and it is something in demand, you can get a dozen calls on the item and sell it in a matter of minutes.

As I am always interested in every aspect of Capitalism and how it works, I ended up having some very interesting conversations with the people that purchased the items I had for sale. Continue reading Entrepreneureism Is Alive And Well

I have been working on my other project that we are about ready to go with a soft launch on next week.   Well actually we  have a ” Feather Launch” going on right now.   I will put a link up or it early next week so that you can see what I am talking about.  It is the coolest project I have worked on so far for sure.

Should have the new site up sometime next week.  I am digging it too.  Is your site ready for an overhaul?  If so I have some new concoctions for you to make your life a lot easier, less painful, more profitable and I will release some testing results that you can use too.

I am still working on a newer version of my book and as you know, the economy is not getting any better anytime soon.  Most intelligent people realize that Washington is the cause of most of it and they are only making it worse.  The best we can hope for at this time is that they will cease being stupid and doing their level best to destroy what makes America great.

I find it ironic that while Europe is moving away from Socialism having realized the complete failure of it, the people in charge here are hell-bent on making the US a socialist nation and stamping out capitalism on purpose.  There is no other explanation that fits.

With that in mind, it is more important than ever to have all of the tools you can get at your disposal to keep market share and profitability.

I am also going to be bringing in some experts of how to gain clients from overseas.  The US dollar is in danger of toppling to all time lows.  What this means is that dollar you hid in a jar in 2001 is now worth only about 33 cents (based on Gold prices).  Cool huh?  Not so much.  But it does make the things that you sell in dollars attractive price-wise to people overseas.
