That is exactly how I feel these days. Have you ever been there? Have you just been so busy with clients and other people you don’t have time to work on your own projects?

While I have been mostly concentrating on some totally mind-blowing SEO / Traffic systems I am integrating into a new software project I am about to share with you, I am slowly putting this site together so that it is an “appealing, take action kind of site” and not something the cat brought home.

If you have watched my Massive Online Profit videos, you are seeing a small sliver of the kind of things I am working on.

So is www.21to21.com better than a lot of sites out there? Sure, but it is only about 85% there and it will be much, much better. What it does not do is really showcase any of the Web Design skills I have or that are in house. But as I said before, I have been mostly using it for SEO / Traffic research and will continue to do so but, it will get better looking here shortly.

I am not sure if I mentioned this, but I am using the Beta Version of LaunchBox Pro software that my partners and I have been working on for about 8 months now. While it may not be apparent yet, it is by far the easiest, most powerful Website / Blog building platform I have ever used, with nothing even coming close.

It allows you to basically build out custom themes and layouts within the WordPress Dashboard without ever leaving it. Its 3:25 AM And I am still working and I must say I am psyched. I have just had one of those marathon sessions where you get more done in 7 hours than you can in 5 days sometimes. If you have experienced this, you know what I am talking about. Got to love being ADD and OCD, and ADHD all at once.

If you don’t know what I am talking about, you have no idea as to what you are missing.

I will keep this short and post more later today after I get some sleep but I am going to post a couple of Kernels that I absolutely know are going to help you kick start what you are doing online and I have decided to share with you a couple of big secrets that I use to get things done and put profit in my pocket so that you can put money in your pocket.

5 Things You Can Do Today To Increase Your Profit And Productivity By 40%

5 Things that you can do today to increase your productivity by 40%

Above are the 5 things that you can incorporate into your daily routine that can easily increase your productivity by 40%. The reason I know this is possibly is because I have done it. And actually, my increase was quite a bit more than that to tell you the truth. I actually incorporated some other things as well that I will do another post on at a later time, but these 5 I have found can have a profound impact on virtually anyone that tries them for just one day, let alone one week.

Increase My Productivity BY 40%

1. Write out what I “HAVE” to get done the night before. There are numerous studies backing this up in that when you actually write or type something out, it changes the way it is stored in your brain. I and others have also noticed that once you write something down, it lets your sub-conscious have a go at it and results often pop full formed in my noodle first thing in the morning. This technique has been recommended by a lot of people from the great motivator and human behavior modeler Napoleon Hill onward to present day writers.

2. Check Emails Only 3 times a day. I dare you to actually count and keep track of how much time you spend checking your emails. You will probably be surprised and appalled. It is not only the time you spend checking them, but the break in concentration that it takes to do so. This one thing alone can help you hit the 40% increase in productivity. You can use this online stop watch to actually track the time. It is a great tool that I often use. http://www.online-stopwatch.com/

3. Use YakWrite.com or other Transcription Services for Blogs, Memos, and Web Content. You can get up to 8,000 words or up to 20+ Blog posts transcribed for about 99 cents a piece! You can get 1 hour of Audio transcribed for only $19.99 over there as an introductory rate. But, even if you pay twice that, you can increase your productivity easily by 40% using Transcription services. If you don’t have the audio recording software, the one I like the best and it is free is Audacity. It works on Windows and Macs. http://audacity.sourceforge.net/

4. Figure out which things are going to make me the most money and concentrate on them. While this may seem like a no brainer, and I am not sure who said this but, “most people are too busy to ever become wealthy” is true and not busy in a good way. If you cut out even 50% of the BS that you do every day that has nothing to do with you making more money, you will be amazed at the results. The old 80/20 rule or Pareto principle comes into play. 80% of the money you make comes from only 20% of what you do. Figure out what the 20% really is and drop the other stuff!

5. Write down a Mind Map of what I will get done this year using www.Bubbl.us . This again comes back to number 1. But this is a bigger picture and unsurprisingly less than 1% of all people ever write down and map out what they want to accomplish financially, business wise, or even for the personal life. Yet, over 90% of all successful people have a written plan that they consult on a regular basis.

The reason why I like Bubbl is because it is easy to use and it is free. You can even embed mind maps like this one in Web Pages and Blogs and share them in various way. Plus, you can have other people collaborate with you on them too.

The bottom line is that it is easy to become complacent with your time, but it is the one thing that you can control that can make the most impact on your productivity and your life.

Google Confirms (Again) That Breadcrumb Navigation Can Help Your Site Ranking

Google has once again confirmed that Breadcrumb Navigation can help your page ranking. What is funny is that I have been meaning to do a blog post on this for sometime now. They actually officially came out with this in a 2008 PDF document that they released.

You can get the document for free when you sign up for my newsletter over there in the right hand column… hint, hint. It is full of goodies directly from Google on how to get better page rankings.

I have used this in my previous sites but have only just got around to doing so on this site. If you see my previous posts, this site is a work in progress with most of the things going on behind the scenes as it were. Do as I say, not as you see here is my current motto.

So if you theme lets you do Breadcrumb Navigation, it can and will help your SEO (Search Engine Optimization). You can also use www.LaunchBoxPro.com which has it built in as a standard feature. That is what I am using for this site. It can do wonderful things for your SEO and I will show you some of them here soon.

Want To Get Great Search Rankings? Latent Semantic Indexing

I am updating this post. While I would love to show you some results of this, the only thing that I will say at the moment is that this had helped me get several from page listings simultaneously on Google, Bing, and Yahoo. But remember, you have to have great relevant content first and foremost. Content really is King, and Queen and every other piece on the board.

If you are a regular reader here, you know that I don’t often recommend too many products and when I do, they are only the best of the best. And if you are into getting your site ranked high in searches and if you are in business, this should be one of your priorities, then I have something to share with you.

Most of your have probably never heard of Dr. Andy Williams, but you here is why you should get to know him and Colin McDougall for that matter. More on Colin later.

He has what I consider the best tools out there to help you with search rankings. It is not a gimmick, or trick, or black hat junk, but some very advanced scientific analyzing software to find out what you need to do to help get your ranked for certain search terms using latent semantic indexing and giving Google, and Yahoo exactly what they want and need to rank you higher.

Latent Semantic Indexing

OK, great! Now what the heck is Latent Semantic Indexing?

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is an indexing and retrieval method that uses a mathematical technique called Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) to identify patterns in the relationships between the terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text. LSI is based on the principle that words that are used in the same contexts tend to have similar meanings. A key feature of LSI is its ability to extract the conceptual content of a body of text by establishing associations between those terms that occur in similar contexts.^[1]

OK, so what does it really mean?

Well, an example would be pizza and pepperoni for instance or m0ney and savings. Now those are some basic examples and they can involve quite a number of words, but I think you get the gist of it. They also have to be linked in a meaningful fashion.

The bottom line LSI means more money in your pocket if you know how to use it.

The great part about it is he has a Free 10 week course that you can sign up for by going Here. If you want to see your Site jump in rankings, spend a little time and go over the course. This is some of the best info available anywhere on what Google and Yahoo are looking for and what you can do about it. You do not need to be an expert to get this to work for you.

This actually the first video in the series where I take you through the Why, What, How, and What If of WordPress. In other words, I show you why you need to be using this for your Blogs and Websites and how to use it profitably. Plus, I show you how to get WordPress installed for FREE.

This for new users and those of you that are already using WordPress. I show you some tips and tricks that you have more than likely never seen before.

SEO Tips And Tricks… Search Engine Optimization Made Easy

I have been playing with SEO since it first came into being and had I known how big a deal it would become, I would be worth a lot more zeros. Since about 2004, I have had several search terms on the front page of Google and Yahoo non-stop. I just blithely used my skill set to promote whatever project I was working on and never thought to make a business out of those skills.

Well, while I use these skills with my clients and on my own sites, I have never seen the value of posting them all or giving them away. This is because they are the Goose that lays the Golden Eggs 24/7. Duhh.. But I am going to share some of them with you here.

But that is not so say that there are not some basics that you should be doing that the vast majority of people do not do.

Here is one of them for those of you that use WordPress or Blogs. If you do not have a Blog for your business, go get one right now. Having one is essential and when you get one, use WordPress. It far and away the new standard and has some really cool features. If you don’t know how to install it, give us a shout and we will do it for your for only $99 bucks. So, now you can’t say you can’t afford it either.

As I mentioned in the 12 Website Tips, I am redoing this site this month and actually implementing all of my best practices in it. This is because I finally got tired of clients telling me what a great job I have done with their sites or SEO and then in the same breath, busting my chops about why 21to21 was a Red Headed step-child that looked like it got beaten with a very large stick. That and they convinced me that I was doing a disservice to myself and other people that needed help that might just take one look at the site and end up with someone a whole lot less competent that charged them 5 times as much. Hey, I can take a hint.

Anyway that reason I say that is because I have not implemented all of the cool SEO stuff on here yet but I did want to point out a couple of basics that you can do right now.

OK, so you now have your WordPress Blog up and running or your are contacting us to get things set up and optimized for you. One of the things that you need to pay attention to is your Tags. Those at the words down below there that you see at the bottom of the post. They are Anderson’s Arsenal, SEO, and Tags. They really do matter with search and give people and search engines help when trying to find relevant content. I saw one of the so called SEO Gurus a couple of weeks ago suddenly proclaim that tags matter. Well, no shit Dick Tracey… You are just now getting clued into that fact? LOL

So, make sure that you use good tags and another biggie is the Titles of your posts. Do not be afraid to make them as long as you need to and make sure they are relevant to a search. While you are at it, they should be eye catching.

I will also leave you with a bit more food for thought as well. While you do not have to be caught up in the latest craze with Social Media, if they are used correctly as another tool, they can help knock the socks off of your SEO when used right. So make sure you are signed up for Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn (which I truly think needs a major overhaul) and Myspace. I would also make use of Mashable and Digg too. I will discuss these at length later in a post and go over them in my book, Quit Your Job On Monday which I hope to have out soon.

I am also going to show you some other tips that I have not seen anyone else doing either. But here is one of the biggest SEO tricks of them all and to find out what I am talking about highlight the space between the lines to find out one of the the best SEO tips ever.

Good content trumps every SEO trick in the Book. DUHHH… Regardless of some of the SEO hacks try and tell you, good content trumps everything when it comes to SEO. Just know what you are talking about, make it informative and useful. Believe it or not, both Google and Yahoo and even Bing to some extent can and does recognize good content. Think about it. If they don’t send you to places where you can find good answers to your searches, you will use another search engine. So this is simple Capitalism at its best! Yea… so go write some good content.

Profit Consultant tip #27 is one you may already know how to do, but may have forgotten it and have not made it a habit.

Well, it is time to knuckle down and pull out some of the best tips and tricks I know on how to put more money in your pocket. I am bringing out the big guns as it were. I find it rather funny sometimes, but I often come up with some of my best ideas when I am tired and can’t really seem to think straight. Well at least when the front part of my brain starts to stutter and intuition or the subconscious starts to kick in. Which brings up one of the Profit Consultant Tips.

You see our subconscious works 24/7/365 and we often are too busying “thinking” to let the knowledge that it is constantly gathering and crunching come out. This is when you get your gut feeling or your intuition, or even inspiration. This usually takes place when we are not thinking or doing anything involved with the problem or solution we are trying to figure out.

Have you ever had the answer to a situation or task you need solved just pop fully formed into your brain seemingly out of nowhere? I bet you have more than once. Well, the great thing about this is that you can actually train your brain on how to make this a normal occurrence. Some of the best thinkers of our time have done exactly that.

The trick is to not be so busy and actually give yourself time to just chill out, relax and not think. No music, no TV, no people yakking at you. Just try sitting for 15 whole minutes doing nothing… It may be pretty tough at first, but you should try it for a week. The results may just blow you away.

Also, and I can not stress this enough, if you want to have an easier day tomorrow, get out a pad and pen and write down the things you need to get done tomorrow. This will give your noodle something to do while you are sleeping. You will find that your day will go much easier and that you may wake up a whole lot calmer and find new ways to accomplish what you have written down.

This works for me and it has worked for hundreds of clients that I have gotten started doing this. This is one of my best, yet simplest tips I know of on how to make more profit. Don’t scoff at how easy this may appear. Try this for a week and I bet you get better results from this than you will spending a $1,000 with a consultant on how to improve your sales.

Entrepreneureism Is Alive And Well

I had a great shot of enthusiasm over the weekend that I wanted to share with you. It all came about because I had a few items that I wanted to sell or throw away. So I put a couple of ads on Craigslist.com and ended up running into some rather interesting Entrepreneurs and people in general. They ranged in age from about 20 to 75.

If you want an example of Capitalism working at its best it is a perfect example. If your price is too high it won’t sell, but if it is priced right and it is something in demand, you can get a dozen calls on the item and sell it in a matter of minutes.

As I am always interested in every aspect of Capitalism and how it works, I ended up having some very interesting conversations with the people that purchased the items I had for sale.

Two of them made a living from Craigslist.com which I thought was pretty cool and I am talking over $70,000 a year. For a one man or woman show that is pretty darn good. While I won’t tell you what they were buying and selling it was not rocket science as to what they were doing. Buying low and selling higher. The cool part was that they had zero inventory and they were completely Internet based and yet they did not have a website…although that is going to change if I have anything to do with it.. LOL

This brings up another one of my favorite subjects….Guerilla Marketing.. Do you have an ongoing ad in Craigslist.com and the other free classified sites? If not, go do it now, you would be amazed at how many people use them.

I also met people that are just trying to squeeze a dollar as hard as they can. I met a great lady who had her 3 year old son with her who’s husband just got sent to Iraq and she wanted to spruce up her apartment, but yet did not have a lot of money to spend and was shopping for a bargain.

So anyway, there is a huge market on the free classified sites out there and you should really be taking advantage of it because you could be amazed at the response that you get. I want you to be part of those successful Entrepreneurs out there that now create 80% of all of the jobs in the US.

Coke Gets First Ever 21to21.com Darwin Website Design Dodo Award

Design Dodo Award

Coke-Cola’s main Website has won the first ever Darwin Website Design Dodo Award ™ for their design of www.Coke.com .

This award is handed out for Website designs that show the best of why Dodo’s are now extinct and only live on in books and stuffed in Museums. These designs have no branches in their family tree of design and are perhaps best represented by a stick.

The reason why Coke has received the first design award is because of what I thought was a mistake, but Coke’s PR department proceeded to send the following email:

I’ve confirmed there is not an error on the web page, it was an intentional stylistic design decision.

I ended up contacting both Coke and Berkshire Hathaway which is Warren Buffett’s Company which is Coke’s largest stockholder.

The Darwin Website Design Dodo award is not given to necessarily to honest mistakes or even ugly designs, but for those designs that defy common sense. In this case, they have consciously covered up part of a Logo that could arguably be said to be worth Billions based on whimsy or someone actually not catching it. For this, Coke’s Website Designers receive the soon to be coveted Darwin Website Design Dodo Award for a Website.

The reason why I feel qualified to hand out this design Award is that I myself have designed some pretty darn ugly and bad designs and this will help remind me and others, perhaps even you, not to do these types of things on a Website.

If you have other designs that you would like to submit, please make a comment below. I am thinking about awarding a Darwin Website Design Dodo Award on an as needed basis, perhaps even Monthly.

PS I have to say that the PR people at both Coke and Berkshire Hathaway were very nice and helpful. I never did speak with the Website designer at Coke though. Would like to know what was running through their mind when they did this wouldn’t you?

Google Wave, Wave Of The Future….

Google Wave, have you heard the buzz on Google’s latest to go into limited invitation only beta? Well, I have been playing in the Sandbox (that is what they really call it by the way) for sometime now and it has the potential to the a category killer much like Explorer was to Netscape and for good reason.

I will do more on this when my eyes are not drooping but think of GoToMeeting going bye, bye as well as a Skype, Vonage, and possibly Twitter, just to name a few. Think of it as totally making you rethink how you collaborate and work with other people.

Is it there yet? Nope, but the possibilities are there for you and the companies that I mentioned maybe really changing the way the do business if they want to stay in business. A few others should look out too. Oh by the way, did I mention that Google Wave is free?

I will post more about it shortly.
