OK, I have been seeing many people including clients that are using products that I really do not care for and dislike using. Mostly because they are a pain in the ass to use, are outdated, don't work well, are expensive, or will help them lose money. And if you really hit the jackpot, some of these products all of the aforementioned things.

I just happened to pick the names out that I see most bandied about as the greatest thing since sliced white bread and the ones that my clients seem to have the most trouble with and that ones that I hate to work on these days. The people that say they are great is because they usually have a vested interest or they don't know any better. :) But I am willing to be convinced otherwise. But, it is going to take a lot, and I do mean A LOT of convincing.
This is just my little old humble opinion from having knocked around the internet for going on two decades now. Wow, how is that possible? LOL

Here is the long and short of it.

What has happened is that WordPress has taken over at THE code to build profitable Websites with these days.

Groupon got started on WordPress. It is now over a 5 billion dollar a year company.

This is just my little old humble opinion from having knocked around the internet for going on two decades now. Wow, how is that possible? LOL

Here is the long and short of it.

What has happened is that WordPress has taken over as THE code to build profitable Websites with these days.

Groupon got started on WordPress. It is now over a 5 billion dollar a year company.

Joomla and Drupal became obsolete when WordPress came around. Do not let anyone tell you otherwise. So therefore, most things that have anything to do with them have the same shortfalls. You can go here to find out more information about WordPress.

As far as some of the other things such as Infustion Soft, AWeber, GetResponse, Constant Contact and others, I will tell you why I don’t use any of them and try and wean my clients off of them as soon as I can.

Mostly because they are a pain in the butt to use, and overpriced in my book. There are custom solutions that you can get done for you for less than you pay for all of them. And soon, I know of an app that will replace all of them and cost pennies on the dollar compared compared to the apps mentioned and do a much, much better job, while being far more user friendly.

I asked one of my great partners who also happens to be the sharpest programmer that I know what his thoughts were about CMS or content management systems and some of the other things that I have mentioned. When I say he is sharp, that is saying a lot as I have worked with folks from Apple, IBM, and numerous start ups. He smokes all of them.

Here are some of Dan’s comments and mine.

1. VirtuMart is a module for Joomla so all the cons of Joomla are applied to VirtuMart

2. Joomla and Drupal are CMS’s (the classic version of the term). Each one is fat, hard to understand and consumes a lot of resources compared to WordPress. Trying to make a plugin or a theme for Joomla or Drupal is a pain in the ass. For example: they are using blocks for each widget inside the theme so you need to style each widget individually. Hooking an e-commerce plugin in this monster is like you driving a car while another car drives over you.

Andrew’s two cents. I cannot in good conscious, put anyone into Joomla or Drupal. It can ruin your business in my opinion.

3. osCommerce – is the father of all e-commerce solutions but it’s outdated. They have trying to create a new version for years. The osCommerce is based on the code wrote in ~2000. Customizing the osCommerce it’s not easy: you can’t create a custom theme easily or change the layout. In order to do that, you need to be a very good programmer with a ambition and patience

4. ZenCart – is based on osCommerce. The code is better but the theme system works the same. Instead of widgets, you have modules. Also, if you want to change some elements of the theme, you need some good php/html knowledge.

Plus, each one of those products have a plugin database but you can stuck with two situations: 1 the plugins are outdated and are not compatible with your current install; 2. The plugins are hard to install and maintain.

5. Magento is a solution for enterprises and i think the only reason they offer an open-source version is for the beauty of open source. They have a module management integrated inside the product so you don’t need to work with files, but i never (and I tried for 100 times) succeed. The product is heavy and you need a dedicated server to manage a shop, even a smaller one (100 products)

6. PrestaShop is a french e-commerce script and it’s a good (not great) solution for low-budget sites. You can search for plugins in forums but you don’t have any kind of warranty because they are made by the community. Of course, you can buy other plugins made by the creators of Prestashop or third parties. Another thing that I don’t like in Prestashop are the unfinished features. For example, they have an affiliate module but you can’t use it because: 1. it lacks of functionalities; 2. you don’t have an affiliate manager interface, 3. it’s not working. After some research, i found that you need to buy an affiliate plugin in order to have the whole thing working. Also, their interface is a complete mess. It’s hard to follow options or to change basic options. A pro for PrestaShop: they have a nice and informative dashboard with Statistics (no. of sales, orders placed, no. of registrations and product pages viewed. They also have some statistics as an alternative of Google Analytics but the interface ruins everything.

Thank you Dan!

Now as far as AWeber, Constant Contact and Infusion Soft. It is not that they are terrible products, it is just that I never ever feel comfortable letting someone else keep my mailing list hostage. It is the one thing that is the heart and soul of any online business.

I feel that once you get rolling all of them are over priced and in the order I listed them, they become more expensive and harder and harder to use.

I want my customer list on my server, not someone else’s. I also do not want someone else dictating what I can do with my mailing list.

The key with all of them is that they have to keep very tight controls on the users because if anyone of them does something questionable, they can get shut down. So, they have to treat everyone like a 3 year old and not an adult Business person.

Plus true integration and customization into your site is a pain in the butt.

So there you have it for what it is worth.

WordPress is the only platform I can recommend and it is getting better and better all of the time. As far as the rest, I will be giving you some alternatives that cost a whole lot less and work much better. At least I think so and perhaps you will too.

If you have an opinion, would love to hear it.

Cheers,
Andrew Anderson

I will be doing another video going over the basics of what you need and of course, WordPress is the only content managements system that I recommend these days.

WordPress currently powers 8.7% of all Websites.
WordPress currently powers 56% of all Websites that have CMS or a Content Management System.

You need to be using CMS and WordPress. This should be your Website if you want to make money. If you don’t have a Blog and update your content on a regular basis, you are losing customers, money, and you are getting killed on Search Engine Placement.

Here is the link to the Tour Page with the Buttons That I speak about in the Video as well as a few other sites.

And if you are willing to be a Guinea Pig, you can pre-order the Software that we used to build the sites for only $77 a month and you get a 30 day free trial. No contracts, no commitments. Not only that, but you will get a Shopping Cart, Up-sells, Coupon Codes, Split-Testing,an Affiliate Program, a Membership Program, and an Auto-Responder built in as well. Plus, other great surprises. You can sign up for our Beta launch of LaunchBrain by clicking on the image below. Make sure you put in 21 in the Invited By box.

OK, I am going to go over some of the basics that you need to have no matter what, as well as a number of things that I see big companies and even well know Web Gurus are doing wrong with their Websites in the next video.

These are easily correctable and often overlooked.

Also, for those of you interested, if you don’t feel up to doing a site like the ones I show you in the video, we can do ones like them from turn key (you have to provide the content, although we can create it for a fee if you want) from $1,490 to about $4,900 for most small business sites. Larger sites are more of course. But typically, we are 1/2 to 1/3rd the cost of other solutions. We can also provide turnkey solutions on a monthly basis as well. If you are interested, just contact me and we will get you taken care of right away. Also, we can convert your existing Website to WordPress and LaunchBrain so that it is easy to use and maintain and help make it profitable.

Cheers,
Andrew Anderson

PS Here are about two dozen more design possibilities.

For those of you that know the answer, it is easy and for those of you that do not, you really need to pay attention here.

For those of you that know the answer, it is easy and for those of you that do not, you really need to pay attention here.

It is simple. The answer is just two words, Social Media…

Because of Twitter, Facebook and other social media sites out there, good news and bad news is going to not only travel fast, but in volumes and with ease like has never been seen before other than perhaps when our grandparents lived in small towns and everyone knew what was going on almost immediately.

With the advent of mobile devices having instant access to the Internet, potential customers and customers alike will be able to instantly find out if you are worth spending money on. And if you suck at customer service, you will not survive period.

Those businesses that do have great customer service, will thrive and wipe out their competition in a relatively short period of time as their competition dies on the vine wondering what the hell happened to all of their customers.

This is especially true for Brick and Mortar companies. And for those those that still don’t have a decent Website or a Social Media game plan, they are going to be history in short order.

While it is true that you may end up facing some undo pressure from the customer, who let’s all just say it out loud, is an Asshole from Hell when they go on a rant, most smart customers will recognize them for what they are and they will be ostracized and their opinions will not be held in high regard.

So, if you have not gotten off your duff and gotten your Social Media program together, then you really need to get your act together and quickly and beef up your customer service. Because good, bad, or indifferent, news really is going to travel like lightning and you need to keep an handle on what is being said about you and your company and respond to it and fast.

But the best defense is truly a good offense and that is simply treat your customers well! If you have not seen this yet, here is a 5 minute introduction to Twitter.

Cheers,

As promised, this is the first in a series of videos on how to run a profitable online Business. These days, if you are not online you probably won’t remain in business very long, so this will include just about everybody.

This is Part 1 and I go over what Adobe, UPS, and DHL are doing wrong on their sites so that you don’t make these same major blunders. This is best viewed in Full Screen Mode.

And even when it is a question about Marketing or Social Media, it all comes back to Websites and making money from them.

Let’s face it, 98% of the Websites out there are not configured correctly for Maximum profits, including this one to be perfectly honest. However, in the next six weeks I am going to be changing my site to reflect and show you how to squeeze every last penny out of your site.

It will actually only take me a couple of hours to change it because of the tools that I use (no, they are not available to the public yet, but I will show you where to get them).

But I want to make the changes to the various components so that you can follow along. I must tell you that I was Ignorant of a lot of these things when I first started. So, no matter what your Marketing or Technical expertise or lack there of, you will be able to make these changes to your site using the tools I will show you all by yourself as long as you have enough computer knowledge to read this post. Or, you can have one of our minions do it for you if you so desire. Yes, I know it is a TV, but I like the pic.

I am going to point out some big mistakes that even many Fortune 500 companies make! This is going to be fun!

And we are not talking about using a crappy free builder or using Yahoo, or anything from 1&1 and the like that can kill your business and you won’t even know it.

So, just wanted to set you up for that.

Cheers,

You Have A Website Great! Let’s Make Some Money

OK, so you have joined the real world an you have a Website. Congratulations!

Now the big trick is to make money from it. The strange things is this is where things usually fall apart for many businesses.

I have seen crappy Websites that make millions and nice Websites that make peanuts. And most people honestly do not have a clue as to why this happens.

I want to destroy a couple of myths here.

Traffic means profits right?

Not even close. You can have all of the traffic in the world and not make squat.

I have to have the perfect looking website to make money. Nope, I have seen some of the most barf ugly sites that make tens’ of thousands a month. Could they be making 10 x that if they were designed right? Sure, but in the meantime they are making money while some of the better looking ones don’t make anything.

It is OK, if I use one of the Free site builders to get started.

Sure it is as long as you don’t expect to make any money. Seriously, they are non-starters these days. There is too much good competition out there.

I spent $5,000 – $150,000 on my site, surely it will do well. LOL

Nope sorry. Unless your Web Designer is a Damn good marketer or you had a really good marketer help you design it, you probably just wasted a bunch of your money.

I have tons of good information on my site so people are bound to buy my products and services.

Umm…nope again and here is why.

First off, when you are putting up you Website, you are facing technological and Psychological hurdles that most of you may not have faced before.

Getting up a Website usually involves quite a number of things that frankly most people have ever dealt with, so don’t beat yourself up too much. It really is not your fault..

Then to actually design that site so that people give you money involves a whole other level of sales and marketing expertise that most people are not equipped for right off the bat.

OK, so you then start looking for help and you may run into even bigger problems.

There are more Gurus or as I like to call them, Schmooroos out there that are so full of BS that is not funny. If they are so damn good why are they selling anything other than their own services? That is a big question you should ask.

While I do have a very small number of clients that I help with marketing, 90% of what I work on is my own products and services. You see this is because I can make far more money using my own expertise selling my own things than helping other people sell theirs.

I still do it for a couple of reasons. One of which I take on big projects where I know that I can make a huge profit from for myself and them, and I work in a couple of different niches so that I can test out and use my skills and keep them constantly sharp.

But one of the things that I will tell you is this. The best Online marketers do not share their techniques and skills with many people.

This is because if they really have their shit together, they can may 100 times selling their own products and services than they ever can selling someone the how-to-knowledge to someone else.

If they do lend their expertise to a project, they always take a piece of the pie and never ever sell their information outright. Think about it, why in the heck would they?

So, with very, very few exceptions will you every find any Marketing expert out there that is really good that does not have a very substantial business or his or her own other than just selling Marketing stuff.

Makes sense doesn’t it.

Now how do you learn the things you need to succeed online? Well, there are some good sources out there and the first thing is that for a lot of this, if you just use common sense in how you set up your Website you are going to be far ahead of your competition.

Here are some questions to ask yourself.

Can I find what I am selling in just one click?

Is it easy for a potential customer to find out what I am selling and how much it costs?

Do I make it easy for them to pay me?

Do I make it easy to find exactly what they might be looking for and is my information well organized?

Does my site look like something out of the 90′s?

Have I planned out what I want a visitor to do once they get on my site.

Is my site about them or about me?

One of the best exercises I can suggest it to pick up any of the fashion magazines and start flipping through pages. In your mind I want you to ask your self only two questions. Is this page going to give me something or is it trying to take away something i.e. sell me something. Check out the design and the look and feel of the page as well as the headline. You want to set your site up like those pages that are gives. Flip through the pages at the rate of 2 seconds a page and give your opinion. Your subconscious makes up its mind in about 1/3rd of a second. Guess what? Your visitors to your site do the same thing.

Now, yes, I know that my site needs an overhaul and there are at least five things I should change immediately and I shall shortly. But that being said, you can find my information and people that are serious can get in touch with me. I am in a different position that most of you in that I can afford to be really picky about whom I deal with as customers. I don’t need or want a bazillion customers.

But, more than likely you do!

I am going to put together a video of some of the good and not so good sites and post them so that you can see what I am talking about here.

In the meantime, what can you do to make it easier for clients to buy from you on your Website?

Cheers,

Bashing Success And Apologizing For Exceptionalism

You must have heard by now that Apple has a few issues with the iPhone unless you were living in a cave. Well, by all accounts if you get your news from the LameStream media, you would think that every iPhone is terrible and that the Government should step in to help the poor hapless consumer.

Well, guess what. I know of at least four people that have the new phone and try as they might, they can’t reproduce the issue. And they have asked friends who have it and no joy on being able to create the issues with the phone going out when you touch a certain part of it.

What does this mean? Well, I think it is a commentary on the predatory nature of media towards tearing anyone down that is successful or for the gall of being Exceptional and that bad news sells. I like to call them soul suckers … LOL . They want to portray anyone that is successful as bad, be it an individual or a business and especially businesses.

It extends to also saying that no one is better than another. My answer to that is poppy cock. Of course there are many people better than others and we should hold that Exceptionalism up as a guiding light, not try and tear it down. But this is always used by weak minds and souls. It is always from someone that is not truly exceptional in their own heart or mind. So, they want to tear Exceptional-ism down and have us believe that is does not exist.

This of course I have noticed started in DC recently and continues there every day. Big business is bad, rich people are bad, Wall Street is bad, or whomever they don’t agree with at that moment or they want to shake down, they are all greedy for looking out for themselves, their employees, their stockholders, etc.

However you will notice that we are supposed to believe that a all Government is good and the only way that we can possibly survive is to let them make all of our own decisions because we are not smart enough to use common sense. We are supposed to also believe that Big Bad Business and Greedy Rich people and not the Government spending your great grand child’s money is the real cause of the mess we are in economically. Does anyone really believe that who has an iQ higher than 10?

Some businesses are bad, but most are very good. Some Government is good and it used to be that the majority was good although we may be nearing a tipping point here. There is actually a proven mathematical model that proves how this happens. But that is another post.

When point in fact, that many Americans work for those big bad businesses and rich people and if it was not for them and them being able to gather money, they would not hire people, there would not be stocks to invest your retirement money. Rich people and people becoming successful are the solution to what is going on, not the cause.

But this is honestly nothing new and there is a lesson here for all of us.

Now this may be a bit controversial, but one of the most brilliant marketing minds out there was Joseph Goebbels the propagandist (marketer) for Germany. The first sentence is the important part. I give you the rest for context. Goebbels said he learned his techniques from Woodrow Wilson ( a truly evil man in my opinion) and his man George Creel a journalist who headed up the US “Committee On Public Information”, or our first true Government propaganda office here in the US of A. Edward Louis Bernays was in on this too and a lot of the ideas of shaping public opinion was his. He was the nephew of Sigmund Freud who I believe denounced Wilson’s whole regime.

This whole group was a bunch of egotistical elitist progressive bastards to put it mildly. But, man did they know how to market!

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.” – Joseph Goebbls

Why You Have To Be Aware

There is an orchestrated attack who’s drum is beat everyday about business and free markets, and economic freedom in general. The reason why this is important is that you need to watch and learn from this for you marketing and yet to be aware to tune these things out and to not believe these things from a propaganda stand point for your business.

There is a lot of propaganda being bandied about as facts on many fronts including financial. And yet, you must make your decisions based on information, but only good information can lead to good decisions.

You can’t afford to run your business or your life for that matter based on erroneous information and you can learn from these techniques that they use because they do work!

Keep your message simple and keep repeating it. These techniques can be used for good and not just evil.

Now back to the Success Bashing as I like to call it. Don’t buy into it. It is not true nor is it helpful to your mindset or success. See my previous post on the Pygmalion Effect.

Have a Profitable Day! Have a Profitable Day! Have a Profitable Day! Have a Profitable Day! Have a Profitable Day! Have a Profitable Day!

Cheers,

Not only that, but you will get a Shopping Cart, Up-sells, Coupon Codes, an Affiliate Program, a Membership Program, and an Auto-Responder built in as well. Plus other great good surprises. (and yes, I will get around to putting in a fancy button here too, but the most important thing is to have a way for people to give you money. You can sign up for out Beta launch of LaunchBrain by going clicking on the image below.

If the expected moratorium on offshore drilling is placed by the administration as rumored, nearly every expert agrees that we could see $5.00+ gas prices at the pump and diesel could shoot up to $7.00.

Why should this matter to you other than it is going to make going to the pump painful and the price of everything you purchase could go up 10-15%, and heating a home could double this coming Winter?

Well, because it will drive even more people to the Web for services and products. When even close trips cost $5 to get there and back, most people will be looking for even more things they can purchase without using their car and they will be looking to save money as the average consumer in America and Worldwide for that matter is going to get hit hard.

This is even without the proposed Cap and Tax bill on energy that Congress has said they are going to pass that will add a 25% tax to all energy costs including electricity.

So there has never been a better time to make sure that your Website is up and running and profitable. I know we are getting busier than we have ever been.

How Is Your Business Going To Handle $5.00 Per Gallon Gas and $7.00 Gallon Diesel Fuel?

Just make sure you do not wait too long. Gas prices are guaranteed to go up. Will they hit $5.00 per gallon? Depends if they do put a moratorium on drilling. But, I would say there is a 99% that you will see a 40% spike in prices even if they don’t. With over 84% of all oil reserves in the US placed off limits to drilling by the Government and even tighter restrictions on coal and other normal energy sources with no real alternatives in site, it is pretty much assured that prices will continue to rise unless someone in Washington grows some brain cells.

But I have more faith in the Easter Bunny showing up at my door along with Santa Clause with a bottle of good Scotch asking me to sit down for a drink to discuss the Evil of Progressives than the DC crowd to get things right.

Then again though, if you open your eyes to what is going to be happening shortly and you get your Website and marketing humming, you can do really well. That, and buying oil futures.

Those that don’t, will probably go out of business or at least be in for a really, really rough time of things. It is as simple as that.

Call me if you need help and even if you don’t do that, get your Website and your Marketing in order ASAP.

Cheers,

Here is my quick blueprint for Websites/Blogs for 2010. The reason why I put this in here is because I have been reminded over the past few days that there are still a lot of people out there still don't have a Website or a Blog or both. Even if they do, they do not have all of the components that you need. Reminded is actually more like been beaten over the head with this fact.

Having worked with Joomla, Drupal, Dolphin, straight HTML and PHP sites, I have to say that
WordPress as of right now is the only base for an online business that I can in good conscious recommend.

Nothing else has the flexibility of look, feel, and function that WordPress does along with ease of use and content management by people with ZERO experience or tech skills.

It is not perfect but, it is head and shoulders above the other options.

This is the bare minimum you are going to need for a successful online business in 2010.

Yes, this is a fun little MindMap from Bubbl.us which I did a post on a bit back.

Go ahead and play with it using your mouse an scroll button.

If you click on the picture below, you can see it full size.

As I have mentioned before, this is site is my testing ground for a number of things that you can do with WordPress and is undergoing quite a few things under the hood as it were. While for those of you that have noticed, I am slowly dialing in the look and feel as well. Although there are some that will say it looks like a barn, and I could hardly disagree, I am testing out different layouts and features and am pulling the best of those test together. It is a rather fun process and expect to see some quite noticeable changes here shortly.

I have been running an Alpha Version of LaunchBox Pro on top of WordPress here and I have not gotten the puppy out of first gear yet and I am doing about 80 mph. So, time to shift gears again with it and show you some other tricks. It is without a doubt the best peice of software I have used for building a Websitse/Blog and Landing and Sales Pages.

I will be showing you some of its trick shortly. Think of it as a Chameleon Theme on Steroids. It can morph into anything that you see that you like and has tons of other features as well. The good thing is that it will be released in Beta in just a little while and you will be able to get your hands on it. I highly, highly reccommend that you do. It is that darned good. You are going to be able to play with it for free for 30 days and then get a 75% discount from the normal price. While it was set up for Pro Web Designers and has more bells and whistles than a parade of bell ringing whistle blowing NFL referees, it so easy anyone that can check their email can use it to create mind blowing Blogs, Websites, Landing and Sales pages and a whole lot more.

There is a reason why you need to pay attention to that particular number for a discount as well. I have a great story on it for you that I may perhaps get up yet later today.

So anyway, back to there is going to be some changes here on the site.

In this day and age, change is the one thing you can count on with Online Businesses. I am talking real change, not the lip service that the politicians give you to get elected. Whereby when they lie about things and don’t actually do what they say, they might not get elected. When you don’t make changes or don’t make the right ones, with your Website or Business, you could be out of business. Big difference and I want to not only keep you in business but show you how to thrive!

My goal for the next quarter is show you how to gain 8 hours of your week back so that you have a whole day to do with as you will. What are you going to do with one full extra day a week? Imagine spending more time with your loved ones. That is what we are going to do.

Cheers,

Andrew “Easy” Anderson
PS My eyes are crossing and I want to post this now, so I will check for typos in the morning. In the meantime let me know what you think.

Google has once again confirmed that Breadcrumb navigation can help your page ranking. What is funny is that I have been meaning to do a blog post on this for sometime now. They actually officially came out with this in 2008 PDF document that they released.

You can get the document for free when you sign up for my newsletter over there in the right hand column... hint, hint. It is full of goodies directly from Google on how to get better page rankings.

I have used this in my previous sites but have only just got around to doing so on this site. If you see my previous posts, this site is a work in progress with most of the things going on behind the scenes as it were. Do as I say, not as you see here is my current motto. :)</span

Google has once again confirmed that Breadcrumb Navigation can help your page ranking. What is funny is that I have been meaning to do a blog post on this for sometime now. They actually officially came out with this in a 2008 PDF document that they released.

So if you theme lets you do Breadcrumb Navigation, it can and will help your SEO (Search Engine Optimization). You can also use www.LaunchBoxPro.com which has it built in as a standard feature. That is what I am using for this site. It can do wonderful things for your SEO and I will show you some of them here soon.

I am updating this post. While I would love to show you some results of this, the only thing that I will say at the moment is that this had helped me get several from page listings simultaneously on Google, Bing, and Yahoo. But remember, you have to have great relevant content first and foremost. Content really is King, and Queen and every other piece on the board.

If you are a regular reader here, you know that I don't often recommend too many products and when I do, they are only the best of the best. And if you are into getting your site ranked high in searches and if you are in business, this should be one of your priorities, then I have something to share with you.

Most of your have probably never heard of Dr. Andy Williams, but you here is why you should get to know him and Colin McDougall for that matter. More on Colin later.

He has what I consider the best tools out there to help you with search rankings. It is not a gimmick, or trick, or black hat junk, but some very advanced scientific analyzing software to find out what you need to do to help get your ranked for certain search terms using latent semantic indexing and giving Google, and Yahoo exactly what they want and need to rank you higher.

Latent Semantic Indexing

OK, great! Now what the heck is Latent Semantic Indexing?

Latent Semantic Indexing (LSI) is an indexing and retrieval method that uses a mathematical technique called Singular Value Decomposition (SVD) to identify patterns in the relationships between the terms and concepts contained in an unstructured collection of text. LSI is based on the principle that words that are used in the same contexts tend to have similar meanings. A key feature of LSI is its ability to extract the conceptual content of a body of text by establishing associations between those terms that occur in similar contexts.[1]

OK, so what does it really mean?

Well, an example would be pizza and pepperoni for instance or m0ney and savings. Now those are some basic examples and they can involve quite a number of words, but I think you get the gist of it. They also have to be linked in a meaningful fashion.

The bottom line LSI means more money in your pocket if you know how to use it.

The great part about it is he has a Free 10 week course that you can sign up for by going Here. If you want to see your Site jump in rankings, spend a little time and go over the course. This is some of the best info available anywhere on what Google and Yahoo are looking for and what you can do about it. You do not need to be an expert to get this to work for you.

Cheers,

Here is the link for Profit Platform Pro which is now LaunchBox Pro that I talk about in the video. If you don’t have a hosting account yet, as I have said, I am only recommending Bluehost. Primarily because I have been a client of theirs for several years now and their pricing and customer service is great. Customer support is based in the US of A and they actually know what they are doing. Go Here to sign up. It is less than $7 per month for hosting!

Because I am a client and an affiliate of theirs, if you sign up through 21to21, I will actually install one copy of WordPress for you for FREE if you are not sure how to get it set up correctly. I will also throw in my secret SEO tweaks to WordPress that have helped me and my clients get a number of search phrases on on the first page of Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Now of course, you have to have good content in order for them to work and it will take some time, but you will have a leg up over your competition for sure.

And seriously, if you want to make money online I would not use anything other than WordPress and don’t let some Web Designer talk you into using anything else. There are at least 100 other reason why WordPress rules right now that I did not get into, but hopefully the video gave you a good overview.

Make sure that you check out the post “Blog or Die?“ too.

If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear them.

Hope you have a profitable day and enjoy!

Cheers,
