I think that I am going to quit doing a daily update on the whole Coke werror and just let you know when or if they ever get it fixed.  Coke still bubbles on…

OK, I am getting bored here posting about this now.  Can someone explain to me how a major company can have an werror on the main Web page for at least 8 days?  This could have been like this for weeks or months for all I know.

Now I don’t want to fling stones here as I have said before I have pulled similar mistakes before in the past and have taken steps so that we don’t do that anymore.  But this is a multi-billion dollar company, geeshe.

OK, I am done now.   Have some cool things that I am working on at the moment and may get them posted by the end of the day..

Werror Day 6

Day 6 of the werror (web error) on the main page over at Coke.  No call from Warren Buffet or email from him either and the same goes for Coke.

Might see if I can get through the switchboard at Coke or at Berkshire Hathaway if I have the time but we have a launch coming up and that is in rather short supply.  Definitely a lesson for us all. 

Also I will post another really good free tool to help you avoid things exactly like this on your own site and how to have a much more profitable website.  I also  explain why I wrote that sentence exactly the way I did.

Here is a hint…. how would you like me to show you where to gain an audience as large as your current one that I can almost with 100% certainty say that you nor no one else is targeting at all no matter what niche you are in?

I kid you not… kind of a mind blowing marketing mega secret that I have decided to share with you soon.

Coke has still not fixed their Werror on day number 4.  Do you think that they think it is some new cool design? 

I just coined a new term “Werror” for Web Error.  Do you think it will stick?

OK, day number 3 and Coke has still not fixed the graphics error on their main Webpage.  It is like Dudes, get you act together over there! I am rooting for you and all, but as I was speaking with one of my good friends the other day and I asked,  has incompetence become a virus?

It seems like just basic competence at one’s job is a rarity and not the norm any longer. From things like this at major companies to all of the idiots in Washington, to the Midas Muffler shop down the street that gave me a $400 dollar estimate and wanted to charge me for a part that another one of their shops had put on not too long ago.  I ended up getting it fixed for $140 bucks elsewhere.   Jeeshe.. —–> READ MORE

2 days and counting on the Coke boo boo on their main Website …  About 4:30 PM EST and the logo is still partially covered by their tool bar.  Go see for yourself at www.Coke.com .  Do you think it will be fixed by Monday?  I actually sent an email off to Warren Buffet at Berkshire Hathaway just for giggles letting them know about it.   Warren Buffet is Coke’s largest stockholders.

Back to the Coke issue.  I actually think it is kind of funny.  But, I don’t want to laugh too hard, as like I said it could happen to any one of us too and I have done things at least  as obvious before myself.

OK, so I woke up at 3:30 AM this morning and decided I might as well get some work done as I knew I was not going to be able to get back to sleep.   Have a couple of issues to solve and my noodle just would not shut off.  Upside is I think I solved most of them in the peace and quite of the morning.

Anyway, in my research, I went to the Coke.com or Coca-Cola fame site.

And found a glaring error on their main website for the US of A.
