They modeled how people make decisions, what motivates them, how they communicate with others and the best way to communicate with them to get people to do the things you want. Pretty powerful stuff that only a select group of marketing wonk&#8217;s and top end performers in various fields have heard about.</span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Are you spending 30 minutes every single day marketing?  If not, you need to do yourself a favor and do just that.  I realized that I had not posted anything in a lot longer than I had thought and as I have mentioned previously, I want to make sure that I am posting info that is immediately useful and I can&#8217;t think of anything more appropriate.  Especially now with what is going on and with what I think could happen in the coming months with the economy.</p>
<p>Now there is all the buzz about Twitter and that is cool and fine and dandy, but if you are spending more than 15 minutes a day on it unless you have a specific game plan you are wasting your time.<span id="more-288"></span></p>
<p>If you would spend the same time on your own site or other blogs and forums helping people out and answering questions, you will be much better off in the long run.</p>
<ul>
<li>Do you have a Facebook and MySpace page?  If not, go set those up and re-post all of your Blog posts there.</li>
<li>Make sure you are truly posting info that can help people in the niche that you are in.</li>
<li>No blatant sales pitches&#8230;people are tired of this&#8230;they want people that truly can help them. If you have good info, they will buy from you on their own. No need for hard push sales tactics at all.</li>
</ul>
<p>Do this at least 6 days a week and you will be surprised at the results.  Marketing is a marathon, not a sprint and you will be amazed at the results in 60 to 90 days.  The best thing about this is that it is free.</p>
<p>On another subject that you may find of interest, I will be posting some information about finding funding for your business and what I have found out over the past several weeks.  Now I am sure that this will not come as a shock to most of you, but contrary to what the Government and some of the News Media is saying, the Billions or is it Trillions of bailout money that has been given to the Banks is not coming out as loans to most small businesses.  In fact the latest figure show that lending is down about 27% from before the Banks got the Bailout money.</p>
<p>Just between you, me and the wall, if they were truly interested in getting the Economy moving and I am not convinced they are, they would give what is left of the bailout money as direct loans to small businesses.  GDP would shoot up so fast and unemployment would drop just as fast that they would not know what to do, but as I said, I am not sure they are interested in seeing the Economy turn around without them controlling it.  And that is all I am going to say on that subject.</p>
<p>But lets just say, money is not going to small businesses even though they have been given lip service to such.  In fact from my conversations, most small businesses will find it nearly impossible to get a loan no matter how great their credit is and I have seen lines of credit being pulled from companies and individuals that are doing well for no apparent reason.  From what I have seen and from what many people are telling me, it has not been this bad since the 70&#8242;s when Jimmy Carter was in office.</p>
<p>There are ways to get funding though and in fact, I am testing a couple of those processes out and speaking with a number of people  and will let you know the outcome over the next few weeks.</p>
<p>In the meantime, start spending just 30 minutes a day on your marketing and I am certain that in just a couple of weeks you will be surprised at the results.</p>

The first is that many businesses are doing just fine.  For the most part these are the businesses that look at Advertising and Marketing as part of the products or services cost of delivery and invest the time, effort, and money to do it correctly.  The other ones as a whole look at Advertising and Marketing as some extra expense that they can cut back on.  <strong><span style="color: #ff0000;">NEWS FLASH -  Marketing and Advertising is a requirement if you want to stay in business these days.</span></strong> The companies that I see cutting back are not treating A&amp;M as part of their normal expenditures are going to lose market share and profits now and they will get really nailed when the Economy turns around in 6 months or 6 years whatever the case may be.  Not only that, they may not survive until the upturn.  If you want to become and stay profitable, now is when you need to get creative and push your A&amp;M as hard as you can.  A couple of no brainer, low cost things you should be doing.</p>
<ol>
<li><span style="color: #0000ff;">Make sure you company has a blog and I would use WordPress.  If you don&#8217;t know how to set one up, go the the contact page and we will get you set up for $99.   Seriously this is a must have.  You can also make this Blog your main Website too.<br />

<li><span style="color: #0000ff;">You need to get a <a href="http://www.viddler.com" target="_blank">Viddler.com</a> or <a href="http://www.youtube.com" target="_blank">YouTube</a> channel.  This way you can get the word out about whatever it is you are selling and upload short videos on who you are and how you are going to help people. </span></li>
<li><span style="color: #0000ff;">Start writing or have one of your staff write a 350 to 500 word story about how whatever it is you are selling can help people at least once a week.  If don&#8217;t know how to write, then find someone that can.  Then you need to put those stories on your blog and then submit them to the different article submitters out there.  ( I will show you how to do this in the next few days)</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #0000ff;">Make sure you snag the name and email of every customer that you service.  Even if you are a brick and mortar business.  DO THIS  STARTING TODAY!  Write them down with a pen and paper if you have to but just get them.  They are worth money to you and I will show you how to leverage these right away to put more profit in your pocket and get a a happy customer that wants to do business with you.</span></li>
<li><span style="color: #0000ff;">Go sign up for a free account at <a href="http://www.Facebook.com" target="_blank"><strong>www.Facebook.com</strong></a> and <strong><a href="http://www.QuitYourJobOnMonday.com" target="_blank">www.QuitYourJobOnMonday.com</a></strong> .  Make sure you put your Blog and or your sites url in your main profile.  This will help people find you on the web.  There is more to it than this but do this first.<br />

<p>Now I am not saying that you have to invest a ton of money on A&amp;M , but if you don&#8217;t spend money, then you are going to have to invest some of your brain power.  Guerrilla Marketing works great when you have a plan for it and make it part of your everyday routine.  I would use<a href="http://www.blubbl.us" target="_blank"> Bubbl.us </a>to make my Advertising and Marketing Plan up.  This is what a Bubbl looks like.  You can drag this around.  Go ahead and play with it.  I like it because you can also do cool thing like embed it in websites.</p>
