I will be doing another video going over the basics of what you need and of course, WordPress is the only content managements system that I recommend these days.

WordPress currently powers 8.7% of all Websites.
WordPress currently powers 56% of all Websites that have CMS or a Content Management System.

You need to be using CMS and WordPress. This should be your Website if you want to make money. If you don’t have a Blog and update your content on a regular basis, you are losing customers, money, and you are getting killed on Search Engine Placement.

Here is the link to the Tour Page with the Buttons That I speak about in the Video as well as a few other sites.

And if you are willing to be a Guinea Pig, you can pre-order the Software that we used to build the sites for only $77 a month and you get a 30 day free trial. No contracts, no commitments. Not only that, but you will get a Shopping Cart, Up-sells, Coupon Codes, Split-Testing,an Affiliate Program, a Membership Program, and an Auto-Responder built in as well. Plus, other great surprises. You can sign up for our Beta launch of LaunchBrain by clicking on the image below. Make sure you put in 21 in the Invited By box.

OK, I am going to go over some of the basics that you need to have no matter what, as well as a number of things that I see big companies and even well know Web Gurus are doing wrong with their Websites in the next video.

These are easily correctable and often overlooked.

Also, for those of you interested, if you don’t feel up to doing a site like the ones I show you in the video, we can do ones like them from turn key (you have to provide the content, although we can create it for a fee if you want) from $1,490 to about $4,900 for most small business sites. Larger sites are more of course. But typically, we are 1/2 to 1/3rd the cost of other solutions. We can also provide turnkey solutions on a monthly basis as well. If you are interested, just contact me and we will get you taken care of right away. Also, we can convert your existing Website to WordPress and LaunchBrain so that it is easy to use and maintain and help make it profitable.

Cheers,
Andrew Anderson

PS Here are about two dozen more design possibilities.

Is a Chameleon In Your Future?

There are a lot of choices today in the world of Websites and Blogs for your business. The tough part is choosing the right one for your business that will make you money and not cost you an arm and a leg.

Having worked the nearly every platform out there today, the choice has gotten easier than ever before and there has been a clear winner for quite sometime now and the general business world is finally finding out about it and the winner is……

WordPress by half a lap!

With the latest release of WordPress 3.0, WordPress has extended it’s lead far ahead of the other platforms out there. Even with the heavy duty expert system like Vignette that would cost around $250,000 to build a full blown site, you can now duplicate the same functions for 1/2 to 1/5 the price and have a much easier user interface and do it in 1/3rd the time.

As we have been working with Drupal, Joomla, TypePad, Posterous and others in that past and still support customers that us them, we are fast seeing how they are slipping away in comparison to what WordPress can do. It is not just getting better a little bit, it is fast becoming 10x better not just for Blogs, but full blown Websites of any shape or size for business.

The plug-ins and widgets are becoming better as well although they are a good 6 months to a year behind of what the core of WordPress 3.0 capable of because of the nature of how they are put together.

What is going to leap-frog whole process though is that we are getting ready to launch one of the first “Chameleons” for WordPress that takes over the functionality of widgets, plug-ins and theme, all in one.

This will be a large shift in giving someone that only knows how to check their email with zero tech skills to build a fully richly featured Business website of unmatched functionality.

It is being called a Chameleon because it can mimic the look, feel, and functionality of nearly any site, running on any of the other platforms more quickly, easily, and better than anything else out there up until now.

Imagine being able to build a Website that looks like any of the best ones out there in a mater a few hours or days. Now imaging being able to do it yourself our have someone do it for you and not break the bank or have to be a rocket scientist to ad any content you want from text, to graphics, to audio and video. Or to be able to set up a completely functioning eCommerce site within an hour or two complete with Affiliate programs and upsells and downsells and in place.

Well, the wait is nearly over and it is going to blow everything else right out of the water.

The end result is that you have a Website that not only costs less to put together, but to maintain, add data and content too, and keep fresh and up-to-date without being a tech genius.

This is not to be confused with all of the cheap or free website builders out there. You know the ones that are free or only cost $10 – $100 bucks a month. The time for those if you really want to make money on the Web is long past and those business that stick with them are suddenly going to find their business drying up over the next year or so to business that are using WordPress and a Chameleon.

I will be able to show you a demo video of what can actually be done and just how fast you can do it here before the end of the month. This will be an exclusive and you can say that you saw the future of Business Websites here first before anyone else.

Cheers,

Don’t have a Blog? Why Your Competition Hopes You Never Get One

Updated March 12, 11:22 PM EST By Andrew Anderson

My advice for you is to get one today. Seriously, if you are spending money on any other media or advertising and you don’t have a Blog, STOP and get a Blog before you spend another dime.

It does not matter if you are a brick and mortar company or sell most of your products and services online, you NEED to have a Blog. I am surprised at the number of supposedly smart companies that have websites without a Blog.

Because of some recent conversations with clients I want to start from scratch here. I actually have been working on this post for over two weeks now and it’s has even become more relevant since I started it. Here is a short video that encapsulates what this post is about. I am running on about 3 hours sleep today. You can probably tell from the video that I just shot. Click and watch it before you go on if you can.

What is a Blog?

A Blog is basically a list of short stories that are called posts. They can contain text, graphics, audio, video, or a combination of them all. Typically it is updated fairly frequently. It can be several times a day, to several times a month.

Subject matter varies depending on the owner and writers of the Blog. They can be about your personal life, a specific subject matter, or even a hobby. The sky is the limit for what can be Blogged or written about. In the case of a company, it would be information relevant to their clients or potential clients. For instance, this Blog at 21to21.com is primarily about using and leveraging the Internet including Blogs and Websites for individuals and businesses so that their businesses become massively profitable. I am interested in helping you make more money. Which is what Profit Consultants do.

Why are Blogs important?

Blogs are important because they give give you, the owner of the Blog, the ability to communicate freely with your clients and potential clients. The great thing about a Blog is people get to vote with a click of their mouse. Meece Rule! OK, so I made Meece up, but you know what I mean. More on the importance after this next bit.

Both Online and Brick and Mortar companies need a Blog!

RSS Feeds and getting the word out

People are able to gather information in a non-threatening way. It also provides you, as the owner of the Blog, to put out information immediately with virtually ZERO lag time. Not only will people be able to find what you posted as soon as it comes out, but, through RSS feeds, it will pass that information along to subscribers immediately.

This is from Wikipedia…

RSS (most commonly expanded as “Really Simple Syndication”) is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated works—such as blog entries, news headlines, audio, and video—in a standardized format.[2] An RSS document (which is called a “feed”, “web feed”,[3] or “channel”) includes full or summarized text, plus metadata such as publishing dates and authorship. Web feeds benefit publishers by letting them syndicate content automatically. They benefit readers who want to subscribe to timely updates from favored websites or to aggregate feeds from many sites into one place. RSS feeds can be read using software called an “RSS reader”, “feed reader”, or “aggregator“, which can be web-based, desktop-based, or mobile-device-based. A standardized XML file format allows the information to be published once and viewed by many different programs. The user subscribes to a feed by entering into the reader the feed’s URL or by clicking an RSS icon in a web browser that initiates the subscription process. The RSS reader checks the user’s subscribed feeds regularly for new work, downloads any updates that it finds, and provides a user interface to monitor and read the feeds.

RSS formats are specified using XML, a generic specification for the creation of data formats. Although RSS formats have evolved from as early as March 1999,[4] it was between 2005 and 2006 when RSS gained widespread use, and the (““) icon was decided upon by several major Web browsers.[5]

On my Blog here for instance, I have over 12,000 RSS feeds going out on everything that I post. Good, bad, or indifferent. So, as you can see, RSS feeds are an important part of your Blog.

This can also help with your SEO or Search Engine Optimization.

Social Media

Another reason you should Blog is Social Media. Your blog can post to other Social Media sites including Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, Linkedin, Stumbleupon, Digg, and a whole host of others.

And I swear this is a true story I heard today, a member of a fairly well known non-profit organization that helps businesses become better, stated Social Media was becoming less important, or at least that is what they had read. Well, all I have to say to that is I remember people saying the same thing about the Internet back in 1997.

Social Media is exploding and will continue to do so. Embrace it, understand it, make use of it, and enjoy it! It can be a great way to interact with your clients, potential clients, and your friends.

RSS and Social Media give you the ability to leverage and go viral like never before. Even though I am busier now than I ever have been, readership for my blog has doubled in the past two months and it seems that trend could continue for the next year. And, my Social Media Blueprint is less than 10% complete. So, there is a lot of room to improve.

Between my RSS feeds and Social Media such as Twitter, I can potentially reach over 22,000 people in a flash anytime I like for about 1 cent. Can you do that with any other communications tool you have?

That is why you need a Blog. Twitter and Facebook are fine but you are only leasing those. Make your Blog your focal point.

The Ability To Give Great Content To Your Clients And Prospects

You can do things to make your story about your product or service interesting like this!

Include Interactive Items

A Blog gives you the ability to get great content to your clients and prospects. Like on this site, I give away a ton of great information to people that read it. In fact, some of my SEO (Search Engine Optimization) information is worth thousands if not tens of thousands of dollars to the people that make use of it. And I give it away! It freaks out a lot of the other more staid SEO companies that charge $5,000 to $10,000 a month for fewer results than what I provide for my readers in 30 minutes for free.

Why? Because when I do have something to sell, they already have proof I know what I am talking about. And guess what? Good content is good SEO, period.

With a good Blog, you can engage your readers. You can do cool stuff like what I am about to show you.

Click on the image below and watch what happens.

It is called a light box. You may have seen them before. Why do I like them? Because I can put a lot of content in a small space, have you look or listen to something engaging, and yet keep you on my Blog and block out other distractions and have you concentrate on that one thing. There is more, just wait.

You can also put in Google Maps like this

Make it easy for someone to find you!

Yes, this is a fun little Mind Map from Bubbl.us which I did a post on a bit back.

A Mind Map For A Profitable Blog And Website

This is what I consider necessary components if you want to have a really successful Blog / Website.

Go ahead and play with it using your mouse and scroll button. You can drag it around, recenter it, make it larger or smaller.

It is much easier to explain an idea like this don’t you think?

If you click on the picture below, you can see it larger and then click on the little icon in the top right corner to see it full size.

Build A Blog – Why WordPress Is The Only Game In Town Right Now

There are several programs or platforms you can use to build a Blog these days, but by far and away the best to use, if you want to make money from it, is WordPress. With about 400 million installations, it dwarfs the other programs out there. Plus, the fact it is Open Source, meaning the code is open to anyone, means there are constant improvements going on with it by people all over the World. But the best part is because it is Open Source, programmers can make what are called Plugins and Widgets to make it do some very, very cool stuff.

Now they can give these away for free or charge for them, while a lot of them do both. They put out a really cool free one and then have others you can purchase.

The Plugins and Widgets make it the most flexible Blog and Website building software out there. The flexibility that WordPress offers and the fact that it is Open Source, has resulted in how it got so big, so fast.

A Plugin or Widget is an add on that can do some cool features like make a contact page, allow you to embed pictures or forms. Most of the items to the right and left of this content are Widgets and Plugins.

Not only can you get WordPress to do some great things, like get good SEO or Search Engine Optimization, but it is easy to use.

While there is a learning curve, once the design is done, anyone who can check email can upload content and change it around. This includes not only text, but Videos, Audios, Polls and more really cool and engaging stuff for your readers. This is an embeded video. You can do this from virtually any video source in a matter of seconds.

What WordPress Can Look Like On Your Blog or Website

Here are some of the companies that now use WordPress for their Blogs and Websites. You may have heard of some of thses.

Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, The US Air Force, Nokia, National Geographic, Forbes Blogs, and hundreds of thousands of others!

Just click on the links below and you will see yet another neat feature you can do on your Blog. This is a pretty good snap shot of what you can do with WordPress. From complicated to a minimal approach to design. I did Josh’s and I rather like it, even though it is not normally a style that I do. It fits who he is and what he wants to represent. You should have your own style too and WordPress allows you to express it.

KettleCornSecret.com is an example of a Hobby site that once built can turn out money on auto-pilot and is fun! You can see just what type of variety you can have in how a Blog or Website looks and acts with WordPress.

Themes Or Designs And The Bottom Line

As you can see, the designs can be pretty much anything you like. A design in WordPress is called a Theme. There are thousands of themes to choose from, many of which are free. You can also buy pre-made ones, or you can get a custom Theme designed.

A fully customized Theme runs from about $250 to $10,000+ for a more involved one. While you can purchase some pretty good looking ones for about $25 to $100. If you have the cash though, I suggest you spring for a custom one. You want to stand out in the crowd.

But if you are just getting started out, a free one will work if you don’t have the cash. Getting started is the most important thing. Check out the Products and Services page above if you would like some help from me and the crew. We can work with nearly any size budget.

Now, remember when I said that one of the reasons that make WordPress so powerful and that there are Plugins that allow you to do some really good things? Well one of the ones that my partners and I have been working on allow you to build your own customized Theme and change it anytime you like. Not only that, but is allows you to build Landing Pages, Sales Pages, and fully customized and integrated Blogs and Websites that gives you the ability to maximize profits. It is the first complete system that enables you to run your online business using WordPress.

Normally this would take a really good Web designer a week or more to build a completely customized Blog and Website. We cut that time down by a factor of 10 and will be able to do it yourself.

OK, that is my unabashed plug. It is the best piece of software that I have ever worked with by far. My partner Ryan has been building Website and Blog building software that is being used by thousands of Web Design companies and individuals all over the world. His Landing Page design software has been copied by several companies recently and we decided to blow them all out of the water with LaunchBox Pro.

Craig who is my other partner and the dude that that had the bright idea, has been a marketing consultant and worked with some of the largest companies in the World and what we have put together is the combination of all of our knowledge and experience.

We wanted to make it easy for someone at home just starting out, to large Fortune 100 companies alike to be able to put together profitable Blogs and Websites for 1/100th of the normal cost just a month ago.

It won’t be ready for launch for another 10 days or so, but sign up for our notices. There will be some very special deals when we launch and I do mean very special.

This whole site and Blog is running on LaunchBox Pro and everything in here you can do easily by yourself. Even if you have no experience! You can check it out here.

LaunchBox Pro

Regardless if you use us or you take advantage of the $3.95 a month WordPress hosting account with one Free WordPress installation or not, you should get your Blog up and running today. There is no need to wait any longer.

Your business and your bank account will thank you for it. The CEO of Marriott has measured that they get 5 Million dollars a year in sales from his blog. Not to shabby for a little bit of typing now and then. I actually figured out that they bring in approximately $50,000 to $75,000 for every blog post he does.

The bottom line is it really could come down to Blog or Die for many businesses. But why go there? Just do it!

The choice is yours though. If you need help, call or email me and I will get you pointed in the right direction and make use of the FREE WordPress How-To-Video Series below.

We can also get you set up with a great looking Blog usually between $99 to $299 depending on what you want it to do and look like. Call us up at 307-459-1092 or go here to contact us.

The Cobbler Who Wears Flip Flops

That is exactly how I feel these days. Have you ever been there? Have you just been so busy with clients and other people you don’t have time to work on your own projects?

While I have been mostly concentrating on some totally mind-blowing SEO / Traffic systems I am integrating into a new software project I am about to share with you, I am slowly putting this site together so that it is an “appealing, take action kind of site” and not something the cat brought home.

If you have watched my Massive Online Profit videos, you are seeing a small sliver of the kind of things I am working on.

So is www.21to21.com better than a lot of sites out there? Sure, but it is only about 85% there and it will be much, much better. What it does not do is really showcase any of the Web Design skills I have or that are in house. But as I said before, I have been mostly using it for SEO / Traffic research and will continue to do so but, it will get better looking here shortly.

I am not sure if I mentioned this, but I am using the Beta Version of LaunchBox Pro software that my partners and I have been working on for about 8 months now. While it may not be apparent yet, it is by far the easiest, most powerful Website / Blog building platform I have ever used, with nothing even coming close.

It allows you to basically build out custom themes and layouts within the WordPress Dashboard without ever leaving it. Plus you can have totally customized squeeze pages, optin pages, and sales pages built in about 25 minutes. So you will never have to purchase a customize theme or wait a week or two and drop $700 to $3,000 dollars or more, let alone having someone build out a new sales, squeeze, or optin pages every time you need one. And then once again, wait a week or two and spend a bunch of money.

We are putting in every SEO / Traffic getting tool that we know of. Even those tools we don’t normally share with anyone except clients that pay us big bucks.

It allows anyone with ZERO tech skills to build professional looking blogs and sites that make money. You do not need to know how to program. Just cut and paste. Although, our primary clientele have been Web Designers and they will be using this in droves because it will cut down design time by a factor of 5. It is so easy though, anyone can use it.

You can end up with a site on par with sites like the New York Times, National Geographic, Nokia, Wall Street Journal, or a host of other big name sites that have moved to WordPress as their Web application, all on your own.

If you are interested in finding out more and getting the inside scoop when we make it public, go here and do a quick sign up. You will be glad you did and I will give you a hint, you will be able to get a 75% discount off of the regular price, which is so low already, you will just have to go look.

Anywho… I am slowly getting my products and services page together and I should have one of my other programmers or Virtual Assistants do this. But… I usually don’t let them mess with this site because I have so darn many experiments and tests going on at any given moment. Plus, it is kind of my own playground.

But for the time being, it looks like this cobbler will be wearing Flip Flops for a while longer but I actually had time to play with some design work today for a whole 15 minutes. Did I mention I got to bed at 4:00 AM. I love it!

And I am picking up more SEO and Social Media Clients. Boy, are they in for a pleasant surprise as I just tested out some very cool systems.

Hope you are having fun out there and making tons of profit. They usually go hand in hand.

Cheers,

Here is my quick blueprint for Websites/Blogs for 2010. The reason why I put this in here is because I have been reminded over the past few days that there are still a lot of people out there still don't have a Website or a Blog or both. Even if they do, they do not have all of the components that you need. Reminded is actually more like been beaten over the head with this fact.

Having worked with Joomla, Drupal, Dolphin, straight HTML and PHP sites, I have to say that
WordPress as of right now is the only base for an online business that I can in good conscious recommend.

Nothing else has the flexibility of look, feel, and function that WordPress does along with ease of use and content management by people with ZERO experience or tech skills.

It is not perfect but, it is head and shoulders above the other options.

This is the bare minimum you are going to need for a successful online business in 2010.

Yes, this is a fun little MindMap from Bubbl.us which I did a post on a bit back.

Go ahead and play with it using your mouse an scroll button.

If you click on the picture below, you can see it full size.

As I have mentioned before, this is site is my testing ground for a number of things that you can do with WordPress and is undergoing quite a few things under the hood as it were. While for those of you that have noticed, I am slowly dialing in the look and feel as well. Although there are some that will say it looks like a barn, and I could hardly disagree, I am testing out different layouts and features and am pulling the best of those test together. It is a rather fun process and expect to see some quite noticeable changes here shortly.

I have been running an Alpha Version of LaunchBox Pro on top of WordPress here and I have not gotten the puppy out of first gear yet and I am doing about 80 mph. So, time to shift gears again with it and show you some other tricks. It is without a doubt the best peice of software I have used for building a Websitse/Blog and Landing and Sales Pages.

I will be showing you some of its trick shortly. Think of it as a Chameleon Theme on Steroids. It can morph into anything that you see that you like and has tons of other features as well. The good thing is that it will be released in Beta in just a little while and you will be able to get your hands on it. I highly, highly reccommend that you do. It is that darned good. You are going to be able to play with it for free for 30 days and then get a 75% discount from the normal price. While it was set up for Pro Web Designers and has more bells and whistles than a parade of bell ringing whistle blowing NFL referees, it so easy anyone that can check their email can use it to create mind blowing Blogs, Websites, Landing and Sales pages and a whole lot more.

There is a reason why you need to pay attention to that particular number for a discount as well. I have a great story on it for you that I may perhaps get up yet later today.

So anyway, back to there is going to be some changes here on the site.

In this day and age, change is the one thing you can count on with Online Businesses. I am talking real change, not the lip service that the politicians give you to get elected. Whereby when they lie about things and don’t actually do what they say, they might not get elected. When you don’t make changes or don’t make the right ones, with your Website or Business, you could be out of business. Big difference and I want to not only keep you in business but show you how to thrive!

My goal for the next quarter is show you how to gain 8 hours of your week back so that you have a whole day to do with as you will. What are you going to do with one full extra day a week? Imagine spending more time with your loved ones. That is what we are going to do.

Cheers,

Andrew “Easy” Anderson
PS My eyes are crossing and I want to post this now, so I will check for typos in the morning. In the meantime let me know what you think.

Here is the link for Profit Platform Pro which is now LaunchBox Pro that I talk about in the video. If you don’t have a hosting account yet, as I have said, I am only recommending Bluehost. Primarily because I have been a client of theirs for several years now and their pricing and customer service is great. Customer support is based in the US of A and they actually know what they are doing. Go Here to sign up. It is less than $7 per month for hosting!

Because I am a client and an affiliate of theirs, if you sign up through 21to21, I will actually install one copy of WordPress for you for FREE if you are not sure how to get it set up correctly. I will also throw in my secret SEO tweaks to WordPress that have helped me and my clients get a number of search phrases on on the first page of Google, Yahoo, and Bing. Now of course, you have to have good content in order for them to work and it will take some time, but you will have a leg up over your competition for sure.

And seriously, if you want to make money online I would not use anything other than WordPress and don’t let some Web Designer talk you into using anything else. There are at least 100 other reason why WordPress rules right now that I did not get into, but hopefully the video gave you a good overview.

Make sure that you check out the post “Blog or Die?“ too.

If you have any questions or comments, I would love to hear them.

Hope you have a profitable day and enjoy!

Cheers,

This is the first in a series of videos on how to get your own profitable Website up and running.

The first thing to do is to get WordPress installed. It is the only software that I suggest you use at this time to build a profitable Web business or to make the one your already have more profitable.

I will go in to why in future posts. But you can use it for your Blog or for building your whole Website, including sales pages, squeeze pages, shopping cart, and more! I am going to show you why no matter if you are big or small, Wordpress is the only system you need. Find out why the New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Nikon, National Geographic and millions of others have switched to WordPress from expensive Web Platforms. In case you did not know it, WordPress is FREE!

But the first thing you need to do it to get your own hosting. I recommend Bluehost.

Here is a video and step-by-step instructions on how to set up your very own WordPress Blog and Website in less than 5 minutes using Bluehost.

You need your own hosting account and I highly recommend and use Bluehost for a lot of reasons.

I am a customer and I love their service

The Tech Support is based in the US and you can actually understand them

They actually know what the heck they are doing (this is highly unusual)

Great pricing and WordPress works great with them

And you get a free domain name when you use them for hosting

They are only 1 of 2 companies that I am an affiliate of and recommend

Watch the video below as I take you through the first step of building a profitable web based business.

After you press play, click on the little screen icon in the lower left hand corner to view it in full screen mode. Hit escape to make it smaller.</span

It is open source software which means the source code is available to anyone. As I write this I would bet there are at least 10,000 people working on improving it and making it better right now.

What this means is that bugs get found quickly and it is constantly being improved upon and it happens much fast than if it were private code.

Warning – 2.8 WordPress Has Issues, Do Not Upgrade If You Need Your Blog In The Next Few Days…

If you have a WordPress Blog, do not upgrade to version 2.8 if you need it any time soon. There are some serious issues with this upgrade that need to be resolved. The Admin panel may not work properly and you might not be able to ad or edit posts among other known issues just for starters.

Those guys are usually great about upgrades, but this version has some serious problems. Hopefully they will get it fixed shortly.

There are also numerous problems with Plugins. Do not even attempt an upgrade until you have backed up your site. This upgrade can take you completely down.

If you did upgrade and your site is hosed, go in (if you can) to admin and deactivate all of your Plugins. And that should at least get your edit capabilities back up. But more than likely, you may have to manually downgrade to 2.7 to get your site working properly. I will see if I can get a post up tomorrow on this.

If you are running 2.7 go down to tools and use the export tool. This will at least give you all of your blog posts in a zip file you can save and reload if you have to. Do this once a week at least.

Hopefully someone will post a script to revert to the old version, because 2.8 is blowing up thousands of sites.

Good Luck, you will need it if you are upgrading. But if you don’t have to, do yourself a favor and wait for at least a couple of weeks and check the forums for the all clear. In the meantime, you can check out the issues here http://wordpress.org/support/forum/2

Some people have upgraded without issues. But if you do not have to don’t. Spend the time you would spend on fixing your site on marketing instead. It will be a better use of your time.

Here is a link to download version 2.7.1 if you need to do a manual install. Click Here. or here..not sure how I got the line through it.
