The Cobbler Who Wears Flip Flops

That is exactly how I feel these days.  🙂  Have you ever been there?  Have you just been so busy with clients and other people you don’t have time to work on your own projects?

While I have been mostly concentrating on some totally mind-blowing SEO / Traffic systems I am integrating into a new software project I am about to share with you,  I am slowly putting this site together so that it is an “appealing, take action kind of site” and not something the cat brought home.

If you have watched my Massive Online Profit videos, you are seeing a small sliver of the kind of things I am working on.

So is better than a lot of sites out there? Sure, but it is only about 85% there and it will be much, much better.  What it does not do is really showcase any of the Web Design skills I have or that are in house.   But as I said before, I have been mostly using it for SEO / Traffic research and will continue to do so but, it will get better looking here shortly.

I am not sure if I mentioned this, but I am using the Beta Version of  LaunchBox Pro software that my partners and I have been working on for about 8 months now.    While it may not be apparent yet, it is by far the easiest, most powerful Website / Blog building platform I have ever used, with nothing even coming close.

What Are You Doing To Shake Things Up?

What Are You Doing To Shake Things Up in you business?  Now here is the catch 22.  If you know anything about “Personality Language” ™ then you know that about 65% of the population does not like change and that leaves us with about 35% who do to a certain degree. The two main types are called “Sameness”  and “Difference” patterns.  (If you don’t know about Personality Language ™ Click here to view more details and you can find out more about it.  Great book by the way.

So if you are changing things up a lot, you may be losing quite a few customers……but that depends on your customers.  There are certain niches that have a whole lot more than of one type than others.  The kicker is knowing your customer base.

For instance, most Entrepreneurs are Difference people in that they thrive on difference and change.   So, if you are selling to them theb you want to put “New” and “Improved”  whereas if the audience is the “Sameness” pattern, then you definitely do not want to use those terms.

Instead you want to use “Reliable” and say things like “the same product you have come to know and love”.

There is a lot more to it and I highly recommend it.  You will never look at marketing the same way again.

Be that as it may, you still may want to change things up from time to time to make sure that you are not getting stale.

For instance, I am looking at a complete new site design change.  Now I know I harp on not getting to caught up in design, it can and does help if you have a good design of course, but honestly, content is still King and Queen for that matter.

So, with that in mind, I am going to be experimenting with a couple of new ones here shortly.

Twitter, Can It Work For You?

Don’t worry about twitter if you are not already on it.   If you don’t know what it is, it allows you to post 140 character snippets and people read them. Twitter has had some growing pains and it has had trouble raising funding as they have not figured out a way to monetize it yet.  With massive growth, although no one is sure how much there really is as some people have 10 or more accounts that I have seen,  they have limited the number of followers that you can have to about 2,000.  Now this seems like a lot but in essence it is not.

While I would never predict that it won’t fly as someone could swoop in and pay them millions for it, ultimately I think that they may get crushed under their own weight.

I do like the concept and we are on it, I am still out on making up my mind as to its value in some areas but there are some others where it definitely can be helpful for you if you use it in one specific way..  But not to be a tease but, I am only going to share that with the paying clients and people that get our newsletter which up until this time has been by invitation only.

Look for a way to get the newsletter in the next few days.  My Twitter discovery alone will be worth the price of it for the whole year.
